I was started on Parlodel and it made me extremly sick, I had to take off of work for 2 wks, and then ended up losing my job after calling in sick here and there due to extreme side effects. Finally I stopped taking the medication with I realized that I had no insurance. So to this date I have not had another MRI. My primary Dr. will take my prolactin level for me just to see if it's going higher or staying the same. I'm a single mother and can't afford all the specialists and tests ( MRI's, Blood work every 6 mnths, neuroligists, endo's, ect). Now I suffer daily with symtoms anywhere from no cycle, lactating breasts, fatique, joint pain, & severe memory & concentration loss...the list goes on and on. And of course denied disability, so with no medical I have to suffer through this... :(
