I was pregnant with my second child when my doctor told me that my pap test had revealed abnormal cell growth. He then told me that even though I was pregnant they needed to do a biopsy to see where I was, and what exactly was happening. The test revealed that I had cervical intraepithelial neoplasia ( I had to spell check that one lol) . I found this hard to believe because I was only 22 years old. After the denial I went through I knew that I had to have it fixed as soon as possible- IF it was possible. The doctor told me of my options, and we decided that I would have Cryosurgery. This involved the use of liquid nitrogen which could freeze off, and get rid of the bad cells. All I can say is that it really didn't hurt at all. It was just mildy discomforting to heal from. Overall I am VERY happy with the whole thing. Here I am now almost 7 years later Cancer free! That is a very good thing to me. I suggest this route for anyone that needs it.
