We had this done to help stage my Dad's ALZ. It was helpful becuase it gave us a baseline. Since his medi-gap insurance policy did not cover the, we shopped around and found a great place where we could get it done for under $700. I know a bit about imaging and Alz so feel free to message me if you have any questions.
My dad loved going to adult day care. He did crafts, made friends and it keep him engaged and his mind stayed active. This actually helped with his sunsetting and it added structure to his day. It was a great relief for my Mom so she did not feel like a shut in...
This drug seemed to help my Dad - he didn't really get any worse since he went on the drug. Although it was an expensive drug, we wanted to give him everything we could to help.
