Bladder Cancer
As a General step regarding Bladder Cancer by CelestialMoon
I was only 16 years old when I began having the signs of bladder cancer, but it took a year for my general physician to send me to a urologist. When I finally got an appointment with a urologist in SD they did a few x-rays and looked into my bladder with a lighted mircoscope by placing it through the uretha and that is when the tumor was found. After about a week I was to have surgery to remove the tumor to have it biopsied. I was then told I had low grade carcinoma cancer of the bladder and would have interferon alpha placed into my bladder and through a vein... I then had radiation done and I have been cancer free for about 5 years now.
