First Meeting W/ Neurologist
As a General step regarding Alzheimer's by MyBen
We met with the Neurologist for the first time and after some simple questions he did an evaluation with questions and drills. It was a standardized assessment and he said that short term memory loss is severe by long term recall is still "vivid". He prescribed Namenda which we will start to use and will review after taking it for a while. He handed me an evaluation sheet which will help me keep track of the "stages" to report back on during our next visit in 3 months. Our focus will be to track progression of the problems.
